Famgem is designed for elderly people who have increasingly less contact with their family. We focused particularly on homebound individuals that rarely get any visitors. How can they stay in touch with easy to use technology?
Our research led us to creating Family Gem (Famgem), a module with a screen that can easily be put on a cabinet or a table. Family members can send images and videos to the small gem, letting (grand)parents take part in their activities.
Famgem is an easy to use tool allowing for regular contact and regained family ties.
